For me,“Image Is Everything” and creating
fine art photography is my bliss
As a third generation west coast photographer,
I have made Portland, Oregon my home. My passion for art, photography, and travel stimulates me in creating innovative imagery. I enjoy capturing the art and elegance of the world around me, wherever that may be.
My images are captured on 35mm slides. In the digital darkroom, combining my skills as a photographer and a digital artist, I am able to produce what was captured in my mind’s eye.
My art is not so much about the tools used to make it, but rather the interaction of color, composition, and rhythm, in the support of the subject matter, and the feelings translated through the work itself.
Marie Gunton is a published and award winning fine art photographer. She participates regularly in solo and group exhibitions in both Oregon and Washington.
